Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all professional master’s programmes and related master's courses offered by the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen

Admission to a programme requires the registration and payment for at least one of the programme's courses within the first academic year.

The tuition fee is charged in instalments prior to the start of each course or semester and is exempted from VAT.

The payment covers the costs of teaching, three exam attempts per course and administration.

In the event of non-payment of the fees, enrolment to the course or programme will be cancelled.

The tuition fees may be subject to revision on an annual basis. The tuition fees for a specific academic year are published on the website. From the date of announcement, the revised tuition fees are applicable to both individual course participants and enrolled master students.

Deadline for withdrawal from a course is one month before course commencement. Withdrawal of enrolment must be sent to: master@sund.ku.dk. If you withdraw before the deadline, you can be reimbursed the course fee. This applies to students admitted to a master's programme and to individual courses.

After the deadline for withdrawal, we can neither give a refund nor can we transfer your admission to another course or person.

Please note that enrolment in a course only covers the specific semester. If you no longer wish to attend a course in the specific semester, you need to withdraw before the deadline.

In case of illness during the entire period of a course, you are entitled to a reimbursement if you provide a doctor’s note or other formal documentation as soon as possible and no later than three workdays after the end of the course. Documentation must be sent to: master@sund.ku.dk

Failure to attend a course due to, for instance, work-related issues does not allow for a refund.

Non-attendance due to exceptional circumstances will be assessed on an individual basis.

Students are entitled to a maximum of three exam attempts without additional fee.

Students who fail or do not sit an exam are not entitled to retake the course concerned free of charge. We may waive this rule in exceptional circumstances.

The University of Copenhagen has the right to cancel a course after the deadline for applications, e.g. if there are too few registered students. In this case, you will automatically be reimbursed for the payment of the tuition fee.
